Work environment and schedule of a Medication aide
A usual work schedule for a medication aide would be 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, or 11pm-7am Sometimes a medication aide is required to work every other weekend and holidays with shift differential or bonus. The work environment of a medication aide is diverse. A medication aide can obtain employment at group homes, adult day cares, children residential facilities, and correctional facilities. Popular employment is usually secured at assisted living facilities. Some medication aides are appointed as supervisor or unit managers in assisted living facilities.
